Registered Nurse - NICU - Night Shift

About the role

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates appropriate tasks to staff and collaborates as part of a healthcare team. Duties may vary by unit or shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective patient care through assessment, planning, and documentation
• Delegate care tasks appropriately to team members
• Monitor patient progress and recognize changes in condition
• Collaborate with healthcare team to meet unit goals

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Current Illinois nursing license
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience in NICU clinical specialty is preferred for sign-on bonus eligibility
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
