Registered Nurse - NICU - Night Shift

About the Role

Provides professional nursing care in a Level III NICU, utilizing critical thinking to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, while coordinating with the healthcare team. Flexibility to float into Peds/PICU, SCN, and Mother Baby units is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering safe, effective nursing care in a family-centered environment.
• Monitoring patient progress and recognizing changes in condition.
• Assessing patient conditions, documenting observations, and evaluating care plans.
• Delegating tasks appropriately and collaborating with team members.
• Adhering to hospital policies, state regulations, and legal standards for nursing practice.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• NRP certification within six months of hire.
• NICU experience preferred.
