Registered Nurse - NICU - Night Shift

Role Overview: Provides specialized nursing care in a NICU setting, focusing on patient assessment, care coordination, and family education. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health data from patients, families, and healthcare teams.Develop and coordinate individualized care plans to ensure safe, timely, and effective interventions.Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues in person, by phone, and in writing.Tailor patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet specific learning needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate and enhance nursing practices.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current nursing license in Illinois.CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
