Registered Nurse - NICU - Night Shift

Role Overview: Provides professional nursing care in a Level III NICU, ensuring family-centered, high-quality patient care. Assesses patient conditions, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, documents observations, delegates tasks, and collaborates with the team to meet unit goals. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor neonatal patients, employing critical thinking and clinical judgment.Record pertinent observations and recognize patient status changes.Delegate appropriate tasks to staff members and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.Maintain compliance with Illinois Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree.Current Illinois RN licensure and BLS certification.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire.NICU experience preferred.
