About the Role
Join a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs in a 12-bed facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care according to established protocols.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions.
- Serve as primary coordinator of patient care activities.
- Follow physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 180 days of hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school.
