Position Overview Join a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs in a 12-bed facility. The role involves delivering direct nursing care following organizational policies, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary efforts for optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide patient care according to established protocols.Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions.Serve as primary coordinator of patient care activities.Follow physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team. Qualifications And Skills Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.BLS certification within 30 days of hire.Advanced Life Support certification within 180 days of hire.Diploma from an accredited nursing school.
