Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit - Nights

Position Overview Provides leadership and coordinates staffing in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) with a focus on quality patient care.Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing and support staff during shifts.Assesses patient care needs, develops care assignments, and evaluates care effectiveness.Responds to patient care concerns and contributes to staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Qualifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS may be required within six months.Diploma from an accredited nursing program and at least one year of relevant experience.
