Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit - Nights

Position Overview Join a dedicated team in a 12-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit providing advanced care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs. Key Responsibilities Coordinate staffing, provide leadership, and ensure delivery of quality patient care.Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing/support staff during shifts.Assess patient care needs, develop care assignments, and evaluate care effectiveness.Address patient care concerns and contribute to staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing.BLS certification required within 30 days; ACLS/PALS may be required within 6 months.Diploma from an accredited nursing program with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
