About the Role
Provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care on medical-surgical units as a Per Diem Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Independently deliver nursing care utilizing the nursing process for planning and evaluation.
- Supervise unlicensed personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
- Provide patient-centered care and guide staff.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Contribute to safety and quality improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited school (BSN preferred).
- BLS and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum two years of recent acute care med/surg experience.
- Telemetry competence within 14 days of hire.
