Position: Per Diem Registered Nurse Med/Surg
Location: Evanston and Skokie (secondary site)
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care on med/surg units, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Lead and coordinate unlicensed assistive personnel, collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and promote safety and high-quality experiences.
Qualifications
- Current IL nursing license
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- BLS certification
- Active NIHSS certification
- At least two years of recent acute care med/surg experience, including telemetry competence within 14 days of hire
- Telemetry skills must be demonstrated via online test
