Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Per Diem - Night Shift

Position: Per Diem Registered Nurse Med/Surg with night shifts, providing safe and compassionate patient care on med/surg units. Key Responsibilities: Independently deliver nursing care, utilize the nursing process, supervise unlicensed assistive personnel, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety. Qualifications: Current Illinois RN license, graduation from an NLN-accredited school (BSN preferred), BLS certification, NIHSS certification, and at least two years of recent acute care med/surg experience. Telemetry competence required within 14 days of hire. Skills: Strong clinical skills in med/surg and telemetry, excellent communication, teamwork, and ability to guide unlicensed staff.
