Per Diem Registered Nurse Med/Surg with night shifts, providing safe and compassionate patient care on med/surg units.
Responsibilities
- Independently deliver nursing care
- Utilize the nursing process
- Supervise unlicensed assistive personnel
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety
Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN license
- Graduation from an NLN-accredited school (BSN preferred)
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- At least two years of recent acute care med/surg experience
- Telemetry competence required within 14 days of hire
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in med/surg and telemetry
- Excellent communication
