Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Per Diem - Night Shift

About the role

Per Diem Registered Nurse in Med/Surg units, providing safe, compassionate care and utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Independently deliver effective nursing care to med/surg patients
• Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety
• Contribute to high-quality patient experiences and safety standards

Qualifications

• Current IL Nursing License
• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• BLS certification and active NIHSS certification
• Minimum two years recent acute care med/surg experience, including telemetry competence
• Ability to demonstrate telemetry skills within 14 days of hire

Schedule

• Night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Flexible schedule within designated hours and hours commitment levels
• Maintain certifications and stay updated on clinical skills
