About the role
Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring quality and adherence to standards. Acts as House Supervisor as needed to support hospital operations.
Responsibilities
- Performs interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
- Documents patient care
- Monitors and communicates patient status
- Assists with activities of daily living
- Collaborates across disciplines for comprehensive care
- Evaluates and provides patient and family education
- Advocates for patient well-being
- Supervises staffing, provides staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Ensures service quality and staff compliance
- Resolves complex issues and complaints
- Handles sensitive information
- Ensures regulatory compliance
- Performs other assigned tasks to support hospital operations
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
- Current RN license
- Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS if required
