Registered Nurse - Days - Flex Unit

Position: Registered Nurse Location: LOH Main - Naperville Type: Part-time, 24 hours/week, Days shift Responsibilities Include Assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, documenting care, and evaluating outcomes. Welcoming patients, promoting a safe environment, and supervising staff. Facilitating patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and communicating effectively during transitions. Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to address physical, psychosocial, and discharge needs. Participating in departmental goal-setting, quality improvement, staff orientation, and training. Supervising direct patient care, managing resources within budget, and serving as a role model. Qualifications Nursing degree and current Illinois RN license. CPR certification; CPI certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and therapeutic systems. Skills: Confidentiality, teamwork, communication, and professional development.
