Registered Nurse - Days - Flex Unit

About the Role

Provide direct patient care in a psychiatric setting, assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and develop treatment strategies.
• Participate in department goal setting, program evaluation, and professional development.
• Supervise patient care, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with policies.

Requirements

• Nursing degree (Associate or Bachelor’s).
• Current Illinois RN license.
• CPR certification.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Psychiatric nursing experience.
• Knowledge of abnormal psychology and therapeutic systems.
