Registered Nurse - Flex Unit

Position: Registered Nurse Location: LOH Main - Naperville Hours: Part-time, 24 hrs/week, PM shifts 3:00pm-11:30pm Key Responsibilities Assess patients, develop and document care plans, and evaluate outcomes.Welcome patients, ensure safety, and supervise direct care staff.Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges with the Resource and Referral Department, providing thorough handoff communication.Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and develop interdisciplinary treatment plans.Contribute to departmental goals, participate in quality improvement, and assist in staff recruitment and orientation.Attend training, serve as a resource for staff and students, and promote community awareness of mental health issues.Supervise patient care as needed, manage within budget constraints, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Qualifications Nursing degree and current Illinois RN license.CPR certification; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and therapeutic systems management.Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional competence.
