About the Role

This position is responsible for perioperative nursing care within designated surgical specialties, coordinating department throughput, staffing, and resource management to ensure efficient surgical operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department throughput, staffing, and resource management to ensure efficient surgical operations.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and instruments necessary for optimal surgical care.
• Oversee perioperative workflows and communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in perioperative areas.

Requirements

• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program, with degree completion within 24 months.
• Active Illinois RN License and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in an OR setting.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Competency in caring for patients across all age groups within the specialty.
