About the Role
Works in the NeuroSpine Surgery Center, providing professional nursing care in the operative setting.
- Performs scrub functions, including handling instruments and supplies.
- Conducts circulating duties such as monitoring patient conditions and managing overall care before, during, and after procedures.
- Assists surgeons with tasks like hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
- Prepares operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures.
Requirements
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school.
