Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Days

Position Overview Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.Perform scrub functions, including handling instruments and supplies.Conduct circulating duties such as monitoring patient conditions, recording, and communicating updates, and managing overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures.Assist surgeons with tasks like hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures. Qualifications And Skills Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing, obtained prior to employment.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, from American Heart Association or Red Cross.Minimum education: diploma from an accredited nursing school.
