About the Role

Accountable for perioperative nursing care within designated surgical specialties. Coordinates department throughput, resources, staffing, and workflows to ensure optimal surgical care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department throughput, resources, staffing, and workflows.
• Secure and maintain supplies, equipment, and instruments for optimal surgical care.
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders involved in perioperative activities.

Requirements

• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program (degree must be completed within 24 months of hire).
• Active Illinois RN License.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in an OR setting.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Competency in caring for all patient age groups relevant to the specialty.
