About the role
As a Regional Sales Manager – Midwest U.S., you will drive profitable revenue growth across a multi-state territory by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives. You will strengthen channel partner relationships, support key end-user accounts, and identify new opportunities for Continental Disc and Groth products. Collaborating with customers, representatives, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders, you will position innovative pressure relief solutions and expand market share. Leveraging market intelligence, technical expertise, and strong commercial acumen, you will achieve sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
- Channel Partner Management
- Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with authorized channel partners and manufacturer representatives throughout the territory.
- Coach and support partner inside and outside sales teams to improve performance and market penetration.
- Conduct joint sales calls, customer visits, and territory development activities.
- Develop partner business plans designed to accelerate sales growth and expand market share.
- Support trade shows, technical conferences, and industry meetings related to pressure relief solutions.
- Monitor partner performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective growth initiatives.
- Support CRM pipeline updates, opportunity management, and sales forecast accuracy.
- Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales growth of Continental Disc rupture discs, pressure relief devices, and Groth tank protection products.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across refining, chemical, petrochemical, industrial gas, power, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and process industries.
- Build strong relationships with strategic customers and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product management teams to meet customer requirements.
- Lead technical sales opportunities from identification through successful order closure.
- Technical & Customer Support
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training programs to customers and channel partners.
- Support application discussions related to pressure relief and tank protection solutions.
- Assist customers with product specification development and solution selection.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars.
- Sales Operations
- Manage a robust pipeline through Salesforce CRM and maintain opportunity visibility.
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management across the territory.
- Monitor market trends, customer activities, and competitive intelligence.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting processes.
- Prepare territory performance reports and strategic growth plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–5+ years of successful experience selling technical products within industrial markets.
- Experience working through distributor, manufacturer representative, or channel partner networks.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Experience presenting technical products and solutions to customers and partners.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM or similar sales management platforms.
- Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and market analysis skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
- Residence within the territory and proximity to a major commercial airport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pressure relief devices, rupture discs, tank protection systems, valves, instrumentation, or industrial process equipment.
- Knowledge of refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, power generation, or energy industries.
- Experience supporting both inside and outside sales organizations.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex solutions to customer stakeholders.

Pay
The annual pay scale for this position is between $79,490.00 and $178,640.00. The final salary will depend on factors such as geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time.
