Regional Sales Manager of Cutting Tools – Western United States

About the role

Heritage Cutter is a privately held US manufacturer of precision cutting tools, offering high performance carbide end mills, high-speed steel, cobalt and powdered metal end mills, taps, and countersinks under the Data Flute, Brubaker, Weldon, and Decatur Diamond brands. The Regional Sales Manager – Western US will oversee all states west of the Mississippi.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and manage direct sales personnel and/or manufacturers’ representatives to provide appropriate sales coverage in the Western region.
• Ensure the level, composition, and quality of product sales meet company goals.
• Work with an extensive distribution network.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the cutting tool industry and customers within the Western region.
• Strong technical background.
• Experience managing sales professionals.
• Experience working with an extensive distribution network.

Pay

Salary range: $90,000 – $100,000 base pay plus commission based on sales volume.
