This role focuses on high-volume technical recruiting and sourcing for cloud and infrastructure services within a goal-driven environment. You will identify, engage, and assess candidates, primarily at the top of the funnel, and support hiring managers by building strong talent pipelines across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, source, and engage candidates for technical and cloud infrastructure roles across the United States, with a strong focus on top-of-funnel pipeline generation.
  • Conduct candidate outreach through email, virtual channels, and phone, ensuring a high volume of contact and engagement with prospective candidates.
  • Interview candidates and perform initial phone screens, managing a structured weekly schedule of calls and candidate interactions.
  • Check references and verify candidate information in alignment with established recruiting processes and guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and lead recruiters to understand role requirements, hiring needs, and business priorities.
  • Conduct intake discussions with hiring managers to clarify expectations, define candidate profiles, and translate those needs into actionable sourcing strategies.
  • Build and execute sourcing plans by working backward from hiring goals, leveraging tools such as Boolean searches and applicant tracking systems.
  • Support multiple hiring managers by distributing and prioritizing requisitions and maintaining clear communication about candidate pipelines and progress.
  • Operate effectively in a goal-driven, high-volume environment, meeting or exceeding metrics such as outreach volume, phone screens, and interview scheduling.
  • Apply knowledge of commonly used recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures to perform day-to-day activities under established guidelines.
  • Work under immediate supervision, take direction from a supervisor or manager, and follow pre-established recruiting workflows and standards.
  • Partner with both direct and indirect internal customers, including business stakeholders and lead recruiters, to ensure alignment and consistent candidate experiences.
  • Maintain frequent dialogue with candidates, providing information, answering questions, and representing opportunities in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Share learnings and best practices with team members, contributing to a collaborative, supportive, and fun team culture.
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned requisitions and tasks, driving them forward and ensuring timely follow-up and delivery of results.
  • Support high-volume technical recruiting efforts for roles related to cloud, computing services, data centers, and engineering functions.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools to track candidates, manage workflows, and maintain accurate records.
  • Adapt to increasing hiring demand and expanded workload, contributing to the team’s ability to meet a significant increase in hiring needs for infrastructure services.
  • Participate in training and ramp-up activities over the first 45 days, progressively taking on additional responsibilities and engagement activities as you are certified on tasks.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in recruiting or a closely related field, with exposure to technical or high-volume environments.
  • 1–2 years of minimum experience in technical recruiting in a high-volume setting, or significantly more experience (such as 6 years) if lacking direct high-volume technical recruiting experience.
  • Proven experience in high-volume sourcing and talent acquisition, particularly for technical roles.
  • Demonstrated recruiting experience within the technology industry.
  • Strong sourcing skills with the ability to identify and attract talent for cloud, infrastructure, and engineering roles.
  • Comfort working in a goal-driven environment, meeting targets related to sourcing volume, phone screens, and interviews.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and full-cycle recruiting processes.
  • Ability to conduct structured phone screens and schedule a high volume of calls and interviews each week.
  • Experience working under immediate supervision, following instructions and pre-established guidelines.
  • Knowledge of commonly used recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to hold frequent conversations with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and support several hiring managers simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

  • Experience with more technical software development engineer (SDE) recruiting is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the technology industry, especially cloud or infrastructure services, is desirable.
  • Experience using Boolean search techniques to identify candidates is an advantage.
  • Prior success recruiting for large-scale or high-demand hiring initiatives is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated alignment with leadership principles such as learning and being curious, taking ownership, bias for action, and delivering results.
  • Experience working as part of a large or complex recruiting organization is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt quickly during a structured ramp-up period and take on new tasks as you are certified to perform them.

Work Environment

The role supports recruiting for cloud and infrastructure services, including data centers and engineering functions, within a fast-paced, high-demand technology environment. You will work in a mix of collaborative and individual settings, with dedicated desk time for sourcing and outreach as well as frequent interactions with hiring managers and candidates. The team culture emphasizes collaboration, open dialogue, and shared learning, and encourages team members to have fun while achieving goals.

You will engage with two main customer groups: internal business stakeholders (hiring managers and lead recruiters) and external candidates, primarily through email, virtual communication, and phone conversations. The environment is strongly goal-driven and metrics-focused, with expectations around high-volume sourcing, scheduled phone screens, and a steady flow of interviews. You will receive structured training and a ramp-up period of approximately 45 days, during which you will progressively be certified on different tasks and begin taking on more engagement activities. There is potential for contract extension and future conversion based on performance and business needs.
