Duties

Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.

Affords assistance to patrons in using the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.

Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Conditions of employment:

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactory completion of an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Area of Consideration: This job is open to candidates who are located in the local commuting area. (Within a 50-mile radius of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, GA).

Pay, Schedule, Benefits

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
