Recreation Assistant (Facilities Operator) NF-02.
Duties
Issues/receives and takes reservations for recreational equipment and facilities to authorized users to include campers, trailers, small item camping equipment.
Cleans and repairs recreation equipment and facility areas.
Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment.
Test mechanical equipment for serviceability after each use.
Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected, safeguards funds, and makes daily bank deposits.
Collaborates with program staff to ensure adequate equipment is available in sufficient time to conduct programmed activities.
Arranges furniture and equipment for various types and sizes of events, sets up and tears down special event equipment.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications

- A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following Demonstrated Ability To Perform The Duties Described Above.
- Must have and retain a valid drivers license.
Highly Preferred
- Minimum of one year working in a customer service environment.
- Previous experience working as a mechanic and/or knowledge of standard automobiles and recreational vehicle mechanics.
Education
