Duties

In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.

Affords assistance to patrons in the use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.

Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Must be available to work weekdays and weekend evening shifts, to include holidays.
Full-time employees are expected to work Monday - Friday 0500-1300. Work schedule may vary based on operational needs.
Part-time employees will work a reduced schedule Monday - Friday with the hours of 0500-1300. Work schedule may vary based on operational needs.

Qualifications

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following Work experience which involved dealing with the general public. The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application.

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is the local commuting area of Fort Carson. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)
