Recovery Support Staff - Part Time

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Adult Residential Support Professionals to join a trauma-informed recovery program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants up to 3 months old.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in their recovery journey with encouragement and structure
• Monitor well-being and document observations
• Administer or oversee medication use
• Assist with daily tasks such as meals, housekeeping, and laundry
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation
• Respond to emergencies and crises
• Transport residents to appointments and activities
• Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests
• Facilitate educational and life skills activities
• Attend staff meetings and trainings
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Preferred experience in human services or behavioral health
• Coursework in related fields is advantageous
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• A valid driver’s license
• DHS 83 training is preferred but can be completed post-hire
• Travel within the community may be necessary

Pay

$17.75/hour for the 2nd shift, including every other weekend.
