Recovery Support Staff - Part Time

About the role

Seeking compassionate professionals to support residents in a trauma-informed residential treatment program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders. Role involves providing daily encouragement, structure, and assistance in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents' recovery and monitoring well-being
• Documenting observations and maintaining confidentiality
• Administering or overseeing medications
• Assisting with meal prep, housekeeping, and daily tasks
• Responding to emergencies and crisis situations
• Supporting treatment goals and facilitating educational or life skills activities
• Transporting residents to appointments and community activities
• Collecting urine specimens and administering breathalyzer tests
• Attending staff meetings and trainings
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
• Coursework toward a related degree is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record
• Training in fire safety, first aid, and medication administration preferred but can be completed post-hire

Local travel within the community may be required.

Pay

$17.75/hour

Schedule

Work scheduled on the 2nd shift, including every other weekend.
