Recovery Support Staff - Part Time

About the role

Provides daily support, encouragement, and structure to residents in a trauma-informed recovery center for adult women and mothers with infants recovering from substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident well-being
• Administer medications
• Assist residents with daily tasks
• Maintain confidentiality
• Respond to emergencies
• Support residents in achieving treatment goals
• Transport residents
• Collect specimens
• Facilitate activities
• Attend staff trainings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services or behavioral health preferred
• Coursework in social work or related fields a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain boundaries
• Valid driver’s license

DHS 83 training is preferred but can be completed after hire.
