About the Role
We’re hiring Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT at BehaviorCare Therapy, you’ll provide 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. You’ll work consistently with the same children, supporting their progress in everyday environments.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with kids in their homes using play-based ABA techniques to help them learn and grow.
- Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow techs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate small wins together.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, or autism-related roles).
- ABA experience is a plus.
- Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
Pay
$21-$26/hr based on experience.
Benefits
- Flexible scheduling: tell us when you’re available, and we’ll match you with clients.
