RBT (Mon, Wed, Fri: 2:00-6:00) 16 y/o BOY
Location: Maricopa, AZ (in client's home)
About the Role
We’re hiring Paraprofessionals to work with a 16-year-old boy with autism, providing 1:1 support in his home during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT at BehaviorCare Therapy, you’ll help him build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference.
Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 2:00 - 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with a child in his home to help him learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA)
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet
- Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective
- Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism)
- ABA experience a plus
- Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
Pay
$21-$26/hr based on experience
