About the role

We’re hiring behavior technicians to work with a 12-year-old boy with autism, providing 1:1 support in his home during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT at BehaviorCare Therapy, you’ll help him build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference.

Schedule

  • Monday: 5:15 – 7:15 PM
  • Tuesday: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 3:00 – 7:00 PM

Pay

$21–$26/hr based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a child in his home to help him learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques
  • Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA)
  • Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (training provided)
  • Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective
  • Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together

Requirements

  • Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism)
  • ABA experience a plus
  • Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
  • Reliable transportation
