About the role

We’re hiring behavior technicians to work with a 12-year-old boy with autism, providing 1:1 support in his home during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT at BehaviorCare Therapy, you’ll help him build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference.

Schedule

  • Monday & Tuesday: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 2:00 - 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a child in his home to help him learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
  • Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans created by your supervisor (BCBA).
  • Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (training provided).
  • Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate small wins together.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, or autism-specific experience).
  • ABA experience is a plus.
  • Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
  • Reliable transportation.

Pay

$21-$26/hr based on experience.
