About the role

We’re hiring Paraprofessionals to provide 1:1 support to an 11-year-old boy with autism through play-based ABA therapy in his home. This part-time role offers flexible afternoon and evening hours, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while supplementing your current job or school schedule.

You’ll work consistently with the same child, helping him build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence in his everyday environment. Every session is guided by a treatment plan designed by a licensed BCBA, and you’ll receive training and support to meet the child’s unique needs.

Schedule

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a child in his home to help him learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
  • Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by your supervisor (BCBA).
  • Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (training provided).
  • Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Provide feedback to the family about the session and celebrate progress together.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, or autism support).
  • ABA experience is a plus.
  • Afternoon and evening availability (weekends a plus).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must pass a background check.

Pay

$21–$26 per hour, based on experience.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, vision, and group life insurance for those working 20+ hours per week.
  • Flexible scheduling: tell us when you’re available, and we’ll match you with clients.
