RBT (Mon&Thu:9-12, Tue&Wed: 4-7, Fri: 1-3) 9 y/o BOY

About the Role

Join BehaviorCare Therapy as a Paraprofessional (RBT/BT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for a 9-year-old boy with autism in his home. This part-time, flexible role allows you to make a meaningful impact while working directly with a child to build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy.

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Tuesday: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Friday: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Location: San Tan Valley, AZ (in the client's home).

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a child in their home to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow step-by-step treatment plans designed by a licensed BCBA.
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (training provided).
• Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate small wins together.

Requirements

• Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, or autism support).
• ABA experience is a plus but not required.
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends are a plus).
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Pay

$21–$26/hour based on experience.
