About the role
We are seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D tax credit research, consulting, and project management
- Manage R&D tax credit studies and client relationships
- Ensure quality assurance and support IRS inquiries
- Perform engagement management activities such as billing and setup
- Draft opinion letters and technical memoranda
For Senior Manager, additional duties include:
- Business development and new client acquisition
- Mentoring staff and supporting engagement delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of R&D tax credit experience in a large firm, corporation, or law firm
- A bachelor’s degree and relevant professional certifications (CPA, JD, MBA, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and technical knowledge of R&D tax credits under IRS code sections
Additional qualifications for Senior Manager include:
- At least eight years of federal income tax experience
