About the Role

• Understand and follow all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
• Conduct testing processes and procedures to perform physical and analytical product quality tests on finished syrup and beverage, inspect raw materials, and perform microbiological testing.
• Use laboratory test equipment and apparatus to conduct tests.
• Run control drink on finished syrups to ensure taste and quality.
• Maintain files and test results, record corrective procedures, control reports, and supporting data in accordance with prescribed procedures.
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of equipment through calibration and documentation.

Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to problem solve.
• Good communication skills; must be able to read, write, and communicate in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate and utilize a computer, laboratory, and test equipment.
• Basic knowledge of soft drink operations and SPC is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work within a team or independently with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter, dependable, and lead by example.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis; the company will not sponsor employment visas.
