Responsibilities

• Adhere to a Quality Control System complying with federal, state, and local construction specifications for asphalt plant products.
• Run daily quality control tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
• Develop and adhere to all quality control procedures for asphalt operations.
• Develop asphalt mix designs in accordance with project specifications.
• Coordinate quality control procedures on various projects with representatives of federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Conduct lab experiments on products using established scientific protocols.
• Coordinate with asphalt plant control rooms regarding mix designs required by customers.
• Receive and analyze product-related technical data from external salespeople and technical representatives regarding production procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience; 3-5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of types of products and product components, and the applicability of government regulation on product quality.
• Knowledge of lab scientific protocols.
