Job Summary

The College of Professional Programs at Eastern Washington University invites applications for a full time **Program Coordinator** for the **EWU at Bellevue College (BC) Programs**. Under general direction, this position is responsible for coordinating specialized off-campus program and online operations for the College of Professional programs (CPP ). The primary support will be to students and programs involved in the **EWU at Bellevue College (BC)** program, but additional services will be provided to online students and programs within the college. In this capacity, the position will also provide support to the Directors of involved programs; coordinate special projects; facilitate logistics and interface with Bellevue College; assist with marketing, recruiting, and website management.

About the Role

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful operation and growth of the **EWU at Bellevue College (BC)** programs. The coordinator will work closely with students, faculty, and administration to ensure that all aspects of the program run smoothly and meet the high standards set by the College of Professional Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the **EWU at Bellevue College (BC)** programs, including admissions, registration, and student services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and retention, including outreach efforts and academic advising.
  • Work with Bellevue College to ensure seamless coordination between the two institutions, including scheduling, logistics, and communication.
  • Assist with marketing and recruitment efforts, including creating promotional materials and participating in events to attract prospective students.
  • Manage the online presence of the **EWU at Bellevue College (BC)** programs, updating the website with relevant information and maintaining social media accounts.
  • Support the Directors of involved programs by providing administrative assistance, data analysis, and other resources as needed.
  • Coordinate special projects as assigned, such as conducting surveys, organizing workshops, or developing new initiatives.
  • Interface with various departments within the College of Professional Programs and the university to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Business Administration, or a related field).
  • At least 2 years of experience in program coordination, student services, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with online course management systems and web-based platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of higher education policies and procedures.
  • Experience with student records management and data entry.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and strategies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Pay
