Program Coordinator - Psychology (Bellevue)
About the role
The College of Professional Programs at Eastern Washington University invites applications for a full time Program Coordinator for the the EWU at Bellevue College (BC) Programs. Under general direction, this position is responsible for coordinating specialized off-campus program and online operations for the College of Professional programs (CPP). The primary support will be to students and programs involved in the EWU at Bellevue College (BC) program, but additional services will be provided to online students and programs within the college.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate specialized off-campus program and online operations for the College of Professional programs (CPP)
- Provide support to the Directors of involved programs
- Facilitate logistics and interface with Bellevue College
- Aid in marketing, recruiting, and website management
- Provide technical, administrative, and student support services
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion relating to students in regard to EWU and BC program policies, guidelines, and contracts
- Advise students, staff, and the public regarding the programs and the University, engaging in recruiting activities, and acting as liaison to local organizations, including BC
- Coordinate, schedule, and monitor program activities to determine consistency with goals
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent AND two (2) years experience providing complex program support services involving students (beyond entry level support work)
- Strong computer skills demonstrated by two (2) years successful full-time work experience using a variety of software programs and working in website development and maintenance
- Two (2) years of full-time work experience maintaining both manual and electronic records and files
- Two (2) years of full-time, work experience with demonstrated success handling a high-volume of customer service and contacts (100+ daily), including:
- Communication with a wide variety of customers (such as other agencies, practitioners, and community partners)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience with program coordination and administration
- Knowledge of higher education policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Skills

Benefits
The salary for this position is $44,868 – $51,612. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills. In addition to salary, the university offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance and retirement.
