PRN Respiratory Therapist II

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality patient care through ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas sampling.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educating patients and supporting system, staff development, and mentorship of new employees and students.
• Ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and promoting evidence-based practices.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS required at hire.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and computer proficiency.
