About the role
Responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in critical care settings.
Key Duties
- Perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
- Provide support and mentorship to new staff and students, participate in procedures and diagnostic testing, and promote evidence-based practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy
- NBRC-RRT and RCP certifications
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care
- Strong communication, critical thinking, customer service, and computer skills
