Responsibilities

  • Performs hemodialysis treatment procedures safely and efficiently.
  • Provides specialized registered nursing care in accordance with state law.
  • Assists in developing and implementing care plans for patients.
  • Maintains strong relationships with clients and healthcare teams.
  • Coordinates care with the healthcare team and manages patient care priorities.
  • Administers medications and performs routine tests.
  • Ensures the safe and efficient operation of the unit.
  • Delegates responsibilities and follows through on delegated tasks.
  • Assumes primary nurse responsibilities in the absence of the Charge Nurse.
  • Participates in unit's Quality Assurance Program and contributes to performance improvement projects.
  • Reports errors and near-misses to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
  • Current RN license for Arkansas and current CPR certification.
  • One year of Hemodialysis RN experience (two to three years preferred).
  • Strong technical/computer proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of Hemodialysis RN experience (two to three years preferred).
  • License: Current RN license for Arkansas.
  • Certification: Current CPR certification.
  • Skills: Strong technical/computer proficiency.
