Principal Business Development - GTM, Telco IT Migration and Modernization

Responsibilities

• Drive exponential growth and develop AWS-Native and Partner joint go-to-market strategies.
• Define and execute high-impact business development and go-to-market programs, including partnerships.
• Define and deliver industry-specific solutions and supporting collateral.
• Liaise with the AWS field sales organization, channels, and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for AWS.
• Create and execute a key business development plan for target markets and ensure alignment with AWS strategic direction, working with key internal stakeholders.
• Possess extensive experience in sales, business, and strategic account management in the telecom industry.
• Build and articulate business plans with internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage, influence, and present to C-level executives.
• Experience presenting and articulating complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
• Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to build a territory strategy to ensure both short and long-term goals, objectives, and targets are met.
• Open to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Experience working within virtual and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• 10+ years of solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry.
• 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.
• 10+ years of experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• 10+ years of experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences.
