Post Surgical RN

Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced, technology-enhanced environment. Responsibilities Include Providing patient care for populations such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.Utilizing skills like EKG interpretation, central line care, and managing bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).Applying critical thinking, delegating tasks, and managing time effectively.Collaborating with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, and OT. Unit Details 24 beds in a medical-surgical setting with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Technology & Equipment Enhanced tools such as patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program or seeking accreditation.Current RN licensure in Ohio.Basic Life Support certification; ACLS preferred.Preferred: BSN.
