About the role
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit, focusing on patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.
Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, and rehabilitation professionals.
Responsibilities
- Utilize skills in EKG interpretation and central line care
- Manage rescue Bi-PAP, high-flow oxygen, trachs, and vents
- Assist with bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in Ohio
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS
- PRN staff: at least one year of relevant RN experience and certifications upon hire
Qualifications (Preferred)
- BSN degree
- Professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation
