About the Role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population with conditions such as CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis in a Critical Care Step Down Unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Perform critical thinking, delegation, and time management while collaborating with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, providers, PT, and OT.
• Manage a 14-bed unit with advanced technology including telemetry monitoring and virtual whiteboards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• PRN positions require at least 1 year of RN experience and all certifications upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree.
• Professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
