About the role
Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, as a Registered Nurse responsible for providing specialized care to patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing advanced technology like patient lifts, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring to enhance patient care.
- Performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and assisting with bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
- Applying critical thinking, delegating tasks, and managing time effectively in a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
- Collaborating with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, PT, and OT staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred: BSN degree.

Schedule
Full-time schedule with rotating shifts, weekend and holiday rotations.
