Pittsburgh - Corporate M&A Associate (Mid-Level)

About the role

The Global Corporate practice group is seeking a Mid-Level Associate with 3-5 years of experience representing public and private clients in M&A, private equity, venture capital, securities offerings and securities law compliance, and general corporate matters to join the Pittsburgh office. Reed Smith offers a challenging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating complex M&A and private equity transactions and related investment agreements.
• Serving as a key member of deal teams for a range of middle‑market transactions.
• Producing acquisition, equity and related documents in a client‑ready format.
• Running key aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing.

Requirements

• 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Active member of the Pennsylvania bar.

Qualifications

Experience in M&A, private equity, venture capital, securities offerings and securities law compliance, and general corporate matters.

Skills

• Drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents.
• Managing deal processes from due diligence to closing.
• Knowledge of M&A, private equity, venture capital, securities law, and general corporate practice.

Pay

Pay Range: $260,000 - $365,000.
