Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate
About the role
We are seeking a mid-level associate corporate attorney with substantial M&A experience for any of our offices in the Bay Area (Silicon Valley or San Francisco), Seattle, Santa Monica, New York or Boston. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of M&A experience at a leading corporate firm.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and financings
- Assisting in the negotiation and drafting of transaction documents
- Managing client relationships and providing legal advice on corporate matters
- Participating in client meetings and conference calls
- Collaborating with other members of the corporate team to ensure seamless execution of transactions
Requirements
- Active Bar membership in the jurisdiction where you will be working
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies is a plus
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of M&A experience at a leading corporate firm
- Eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam in the state of the office they are submitting their application for

Pay
The anticipated range for this position is $260,000 - $310,000 depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
