Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate
About the role
We are seeking a mid-level associate corporate attorney with substantial M&A experience for any of our offices in the Bay Area (Silicon Valley or San Francisco), Seattle, Santa Monica, New York or Boston. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of M&A experience at a leading corporate firm.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and financings.
- Assisting in the negotiation and drafting of transaction documents, including confidentiality agreements, stock purchase agreements, and merger agreements.
- Managing client relationships and providing legal advice to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Participating in client meetings and conference calls to discuss transaction strategies and progress.
- Collaborating with other members of the corporate team to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
Requirements
- Active Bar membership in the jurisdiction where you will be working.
- Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Substantial M&A experience at a leading corporate firm (3-5 years).
- Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies is a plus.
- Eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam in the state of the office they are submitting their application for.
Qualifications
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Passionate about corporate law and particularly M&A.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Temporary employees are generally not entitled to these benefits. The Anticipated Range For This Position Is $260,000 - $310,000 Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance.
